Château de Remilly-Aillicourt

The castle is a Louis XV style building built in 1774 for a cloth manufacturer from Sedan.

On the front it presents a closed courtyard with two quarter-circle wings.
Behind: a French garden in a two-hectare park. It was the residence of François-Félix Dorival, Chancellor of the Duchy of Boillon and that of General Baron Béchet de Léocour, aide-de-camp to Marshal Ney.

It is listed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments.

We have been doing restoration work there for almost 40 years and it is still going on today.
It is open to visitors free of charge all year round by appointment.
