Colorful, joyful and gourmet, the gastronomic brotherhoods from France and Belgium invade every year Charleville-Mézières and its magnificent Place Ducale during a friendly festival organized by the Embassy of the brotherhoods of the Ardennes. This year, this meeting of Ardennes gastronomy and savoir-vivre celebrates his 20 years ! The festival takes place on 4 and 5 May 2024 with the Burgundy Franche-Comté region as guest of honor.

The highly anticipated Confrérie de la Mustard de Dijon will return to Charleville-Mézières alongside the Confréries de l'Or Blanc, the Guilde des Goûteurs de Gougères, Cassis de Dijon, the Onion d'Auxonne brotherhoods, Amateurs of Bleu de Gex, the Order of the Knights of Montsaugeonnais… Come and discover the representatives of this beautiful region!
A high-end pop-up restaurant to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the festival
In the prestigious setting of Ardennes Museum,Embassy of the Brotherhoods of the Ardennes in partnership with theNational Academy of Cuisine will offer a unique gastronomic experience with the opening of a pop-up restaurant on May 3 and 4 in the evening. Baptized " The Cassis River » in reference to the poem byArthur Rimbaud, the poet born in Charleville, and a friendly nod to the emblematic liqueur of the famous Kir from the Bourgogne Franche Comté region, guest of honor at the festival this year. During the two evenings, this temporary restaurant will offer 56 seats divided into 7 tables of 8 people. Reservations are made per full table.

Many brotherhoods present
Like every year for the past 20 years, many brotherhoods from France and Belgium take part in this great friendly meeting and take part in the parade. Without forgetting of course the Ardennes brotherhoods with for example the brotherhood of the bare-assed cacasse or the bacon salad, like that of the galette à suc' and the soft cake. Come meet them!
A special Escape Game for brotherhoods
The escape game is making a comeback on Place Ducale in Charleville-Mézières on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the festival. For his 1st edition last year, it was a great success and the participants were pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of prizes to be won.

Many activities throughout the weekendd
In addition to numerous tastings and gourmet meals under the marquee, activities will take place throughout the festival.
Music on the program with among others the Cédric Pressacco concert on Saturday May 4 at 11:30 a.m. on the stage of the Festival des Confréries en Ardenne which will offer his emblematic title “L’Ardenne”.
On the stand “The Workshop for Chefs and future Chefs”, some of the best Ardennes chefs will be present and will create their recipes live before having them tasted by the public.
The children will also be there with numerous activities dedicated to them.

And of course the big brotherhood parade on Saturday from 9:30 a.m., Place Ducale and in the pedestrian streets. Come admire them!
