We are used to living to the rhythm of the Festival. Every 2 years, when he arrives, we wait for him; when it is there, we take advantage of it; when he leaves, we cry.
Born in Charleville-Mézières 39 years ago, Marie Parizot has been “linked to the festival forever! ". Having become a Rue volunteer as an adult, no doubt, for her, the World Festival of Puppet Theaters (FMTM) is entirely part of the local culture.
Exchange, conviviality, sharing
Great moment of exchange, conviviality and sharing, these ten days of shows and festivities bring together people from distant horizons. There are plenty of places to meet: Puppet bar at Espace Lebon, official bars and restaurants, alternative places… The offer is just as impressive in terms of programming: In, Street, Off du Off. More than 1000 performances! A euphoric and dizzying profusion.

Prepare well for your festival
- Choose your favorite
There are more than 400 demonstrations in the IN. A solution: rely on its sensitivity and the rubrication of the program (age, style of puppets, shows). There is also an advice service run by volunteers during the festival.
- Provide
One year before for accommodation (homestay, hotel, etc.), from June for IN shows, when the program is online. For the OFF room, it's in September, the day before the performance.
- Let yourself be carried away
Discover the exhibitions, the OFF spaces of the collectives and the festival space, listen to word of mouth... Artists are still playing outside the program, including some nuggets.
