Quality always pays! Vanessa Ponsin from the Saint Quentin farm in the Ardennes has just picked up a silver medal for one of its sheep cheeses Lyon International Competition.

1124 cheeses from 17 countries

During this third edition of the Lyon International Cheese and Dairy Products Competition which took place on November 24, no less than 1124 cheeses from 17 countries were presented. On arrival, 1 samples tasted, 294 trophies awarded and 13 products awarded gold or silver medals.

Creamy and velvety

It was during this high-level competition that “the Ardennes Sheep Log” de Vanessa Ponsin won a silver medal. Soft sheep cheese with a bloomy rind, very creamy and with a velvety taste on the palate, he charmed the palaces of the jury.

Vanessa already a medalist

This is not the first time that Vanessa Ponsin has been rewarded for her collective brand labeled products. Ardennes of France, since one of its sheep's milk cheeses, the Brebillousse, had already obtained the silver medal at the Concours Général Agricole at the Salon de l'Agriculture 2023 in Paris.

All these good cheeses can be enjoyed at the end of a meal, as aperitif toasts or even incorporated into delicious recipes.

Enough to give you desires and ideas for end-of-year meals.

A little extra

Vanessa also offers a whole range of beauty products based on sheep’s milk “Vantône Cosmetics” (www.vantone.fr). Cottages can also welcome you for an exotic stay in the Ardennes.
