The Sustainable Tourism Fund

The Ardennes Tourist Development Agency supports you in obtaining funding to accelerate your ecological transition thanks to the Sustainable Tourism Fund.

What is the Sustainable Tourism Fund?

The Sustainable Tourism Fund, financed by the State thanks to the France Relance plan and managed by ADEME, aims to accelerate the ecological transition of tourist operators, primarily in rural areas. All municipalities in the Ardennes department are eligible apart from Charleville-Mézières.

Who is it for?

This device is for:

To tourist accommodation:
Hotels, campsites, lodgings, bed and breakfast, holiday village subject to being under the status of VSE, SME, association (law 1901), SCOP or mixed economy company.

To catering companies:
Traditional commercial catering but also catering services with an event activity and catering activities within the framework of agritourism (e.g.: "Reception peasant", "Welcome to the farm") or secondary activities within the framework of a farm (subject to a minimum turnover of agritourism activity).

What will it be used for?

The fund aims to support tourism operators in the ecological transition:

• Reduce and control fixed costs (energy, water, waste, food waste);
• Promote short local and quality circuits;
• Promote ecological commitment as a competitive advantage.

How many ?

The aid can go up to 80% of the amount of expenses with a threshold of €5000 and up to €200 in the more general framework of “Springboard” aid. A single file will allow you to mobilize different funds to support ecological transition.

How does it work ?

First, contact Stephanie Drothier to the ADT who will verify the eligibility of your company. She will then offer you an appointment to make a diagnostic. The diagnosis will establish a action plan. Thanks to the action plan, we will be able to define the priority measures to be taken and finally register your request for aid from ADEME.
