The Ardennes Tourist Development Agency launches its new website  

In 2022, the ardennes.com website of the Ardennes Tourist Development Agency (ADTA) is getting a facelift. The new website is developed in mobile first et responsive website design, which means that the design of the website is adapted to the smartphone format. It fully integrates current communication trends and emphasizes many visuals while offering new features and headings.  

This unique tourist portal for the whole territory, produced in close collaboration with tourist offices via the shared Tourist Information System (SIT), aims to inform visitors and attract and seduce more tourists. .  

An innovative, aesthetic and interactive site:  

  • A unique tourist portal thanks to the close collaboration of the tourist offices. More than 3000 offers referenced on the SIT;
  • A practical and easy-to-use site thanks to a simple and ergonomic menu;
  • Quick access to information thanks to three sections: the destination, roaming and preparing for your stay;
  • A site emphasizing the visual in order to captivate and seduce the Internet user;
  • A website mobile first et responsive can be consulted from a computer, a tablet, a smartphone;
  • Tourist brochures available for download;
  • A multilingual website (French, Dutch, English and German);
  • Spaces dedicated to tourism professionals, groups and the press.

The news :  

  • Highlighting roaming with, in particular, hiking and mountain biking routes available and downloadable;
  • A “Book” section allowing online booking of accommodation, stays and activities;
  • A "Social Wall" presenting on the home page and at a glance the Instagram publications posted by ADTA on social networks;
  • Highlighting ecotourism through the “My responsible holidays” section.

Goals :  

  • Increase the number of visitors. 
  • Enhance the tourist offer of the territory.  
  • Propose a tool in line with current communication practices by giving prominence to roaming, social networks and reservations. 
  • Provide tourism professionals with all the useful resources for the implementation of their tourism project. 

In numbers :  

  • In 2021: 480 unique visitors and 000 million page views;
  • Visitor profile: France (74%), Belgium (19%), Netherlands (6%), others (1%);
  • More than 76 subscribers to the Tourism in the Ardennes Facebook page at 000er June 2022;
  • More than 10 subscribers to the Instagram page @ardennestourisme at 600er June 2022 .
