Activités sportives à Charlemont

Charlemont, perched on a rocky outcrop, in the heart of the Pointe de Givet Nature Reserve, dominates the Meuse and its surroundings.
The last architectural vestige of 1914th century military art in the north of France, first in defense of the empire of Charles V, the site was then coveted by all the greats of Europe and, until XNUMX, was never never surrendered…
Today, it is the tourist who rises to attack Charlemont, a privileged witness to history.
Discover fun and playful activities within the fortress…Addicto, electric scooters and laser game.

With the Accrocommando, enjoy a unique experience right on the ramparts (From 12 years old).
Course inspired by the apparatus of the former Commando Training Center in Givet, in the Ardennes. Your playground? The centuries-old ramparts of Charlemont!
A unique experience, in a place full of history.
Via ferrata, nets, zip lines, monkey bridge, jump into the void... This very aerial course will allow you to exercise and push your limits: launch yourself from the large zip line and dominate the curtain walls and moat at a height of almost 30 meters .
Route from 12 years old, not recommended for people who are afraid of heights.

All-terrain electric scooters (From 12 years old).
Get off the beaten track and discover Charlemont on an all-terrain electric scooter! The West and Fort Condé are great playgrounds.
To the west of Charlemont, explore the limestone lawns and walk between the imposing ramparts. At Fort Condé, the fortifications of the small outpost are revealed in a new light.
The scooter will allow you to access areas of the site usually closed to the public.
An activity accessible to all, combining sport and heritage!

Laser game (From 8 years old).
Equipped with a replica dummy weapon with a laser or infrared pointer and a helmet with sensors and divided into teams, you will compete against your opponents during 20-minute games.
After being equipped and informed of the safety rules by an instructor, the players begin the game.
Players score points when they touch their opponents' sensors.
The principle of shot detection is managed by a computer which is responsible for counting the points. The player who gets hit loses points. At the end, an individual and team score is established.
