Description
A monumental jagged rock overlooks the Meuse. Its four peaks evoke the silhouette of four legendary horsemen riding Bayard, their marvelous horse.

Your itinerary
Step 1:1
1 With your back to the Ardennes Metallurgy Museum, turn right onto the main street. At Place André-Compain, turn left and, via Rue Compain and Rue Ambroise-Croizat, reach the intersection with Rue du Lavoir.
Step 2:2
Continue along Rue Ambroize-Croizat and pass through the archway under the railway line. Continue straight ahead along Rue du Vieux-Moulin towards the Marcadet residence. Leave the first street on the left and then, via Rue des Euvies, reach the access road to the residence. Continue uphill. At the first intersection, continue in the same direction, through the undergrowth, until you reach a second intersection of paths.
Step 3:3
Turn right onto a path and reach the place called Les Quartiers.
Step 4:4
– Head towards Liry. Turn left at the next fork to reach the ridge; follow it to the secure viewpoint of Liry. Follow the path to the nearby paragliding launch area. Head west again, then south to descend to the Col du Liry.
Step 5:5
Turn right onto a sloping path (Caution! Steep descent). Join Rue de la Gravière. Follow this street above the railway line until you reach a level crossing. Take it to cross the railway line, continue along Rue de l'Eglise, then turn right onto Rue du Lavoir. Return to Rue Ambroise-Croizat.
Then, by the route taken on the way there, return to the starting point
