Description
The sacrifice of the chasseurs d'Afrique of the Margueritte division forced the admiration of Guillaume Ier, by this expression "Ah! the brave people". Follow in their footsteps.

Step 1: Departure
Facing the town hall, take the street that runs alongside it on the right, then immediately turn right again up the street towards the church. Once in front of the church, turn left and then immediately right onto Rue de l'Harmonie until you reach Rue des Braves-Gens.
Step 2: Route Information
Turn left onto Rue des Braves Gens. Continue straight ahead, passing through Place du Général Margueritte and until you reach the intersection with Route de Givonne.
Step 3: Route Information
Continue along the Givonne road until you reach the crossroads by the German monument.
Step 4: Route Information
Turn left of the monument, onto the Garenne path. Continue straight ahead until you reach a telecommunications tower.
Step 5: Route Information
At the pylon, turn left, then 20 meters later, take a path on the right and descend to a clearing at the bottom of Remilly.
Step 6: Route Information
Turn right and follow the path along the clearing until you reach the plateau on the right via a wide track. At the top, continue straight ahead: the path becomes a road and reaches a crossroads.
Step 7: Route Information
At the intersection, turn right for 50 meters, then turn left. At the crossroads in the residential area, ignore the left turn and continue straight ahead for 100 meters.
Step 8: Route Information
Turn right. At the intersection, stay to the right.
Step 9: Route Information
Cross the path to go down to the left for 30 meters and turn right.
Step 10: Route Information
Turn left at the edge of the woods and continue in the same direction until you reach an intersection in the middle of the fields. Below is the tomb of Varaigne and Albaret.
Step 11: Route Information
Go up to the right, then turn left onto Rue de la Gloriette until you reach a parking lot, then turn left again. Walk alongside the military cemetery, continue along Rue des Braves Gens, and you will reach Rue de l'Harmonie.
Step 12: Route Information
Go left, and by the same route you took to get there, return to the Town Hall square.
