Description
Stonne and its surroundings were one of the high places of resistance of the French Army against the Wehrmacht in May and June 1940. Departing from Stonne, a historical circuit decorated with explanatory totems connects the places of the battle in a 15 a group of stages including the Pain de Sucre observatory site, the Grandes Armoises and the Mont-Dieu forest.
