Escapades sur les Crêtes n°41 – Entre Porcien et Signacien (Wagnon – 8,9km)

Along this trail No. 41 in Wagnon, you'll observe two sectors of the Pre-Ardennes ridges: the Signy l'Abbaye forest massif and the Porcien landscapes. Very pleasant in summer, it will delight you with its route through the undergrowth and its beautiful viewpoints.
At the departure sign, follow the descent on the right of the church and take “Rue Les Prés Héron”.
Walk 350m, and at the top of the hill, continue on the path on the left.
Then continue straight for 1,2 km then, after the bend, enter the forest via a small path on your right towards Croix Constant.
In this section of the forest, be sure to follow the markings on the trees and/or the GPX track of the trail.
After walking 1,5km through a long path under the fir trees leading to a forest path, turn right, then left 150m further on.
Enter the woods again and follow the signs until you reach the “Bois Royal” forest road.
Turn right and follow the forest road (markers 11 and 12/15) then turn left to follow a grassy path which will take you to the Route des Forges.
Turn right to pass near the place called Les Forges then Le Mortier.
Continue on the road for 2km to return to your starting point.
