Escapades sur les Crêtes n°12 – Le Patrouillard (Villers-le-Tilleul – 5km)

This trail no. 12 in Villers-le-Tilleul will take you in the footsteps of the “Patrouillard” and will allow you to discover the largest golf course in the Ardennes located in a green, wooded and peaceful setting.

At the departure sign, go down the “Grande Rue”.
At the roundabout, take “Rue d'En Bas” towards Omont and Chagny.
Continue straight for 300m, then take the path on the right and the “Route d'Omont”.
After 250m, turn left and follow this path for a distance of 1,3km.
At this point, you have three options. Choose the path on the right (marker 5/9) to descend 200m.
At the intersection, turn right.
Continue along this path for 650m. You will find a picnic table, ideal for taking a break at the "Patrouillard" (name given to the place where the ore was extracted from the mines, then washed in a washhouse).
At the next intersection, turn right and pass near the Golf des Poursaudes, notable for its hilly terrain and natural greenery, located between neighboring forests and meadows.

When you reach the intersection of paths no. 12 and no. 17, continue on the path on the right (marker 9/9) which will take you back to the main road.

Then turn right to return to Villers-le-Tilleul and return to your starting point.
