The concept

The "Rimbaud Suites" project has its source in two intimately linked passions: Arthur Rimbaud and the Ardennes. Thus the first wish here is to share the best our territory of the Ardennes offers with a premium quality of accommodation and to better know the life of the most mysterious and extraordinary poet of all time.

The “Rimbaud suites” project started from a dual passion around the life of Rimbaud and the territory of the Ardennes. His first wish is to share the best our territory offers with a type of accommodation combining quality and simplicity while respecting the principles of ecotourism. Everything fits into an atmosphere that constantly recalls the life of the greatest poet of world-renowned work, born in Charleville.

 

All apartments have a direct link with Arthur Rimbaud

All the apartments have a direct link with Arthur Rimbaud in an atmosphere incorporating the codes of the 19th century: marble, wood, leather, brass. Almost everything recalls the life of the rebel poet: direct view of the Rimbaud museum or his birthplace, books available on his life, his work as well as the classic works which forged his literary culture. Modern comfort, meeting today's expectations, is also in the spotlight: Wi-Fi, Netflix, equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer, linen sheets...

 

100% Ardennes craftsmen and merchants

All the apartments have been completely renovated, furnished and decorated by 100% Ardennes craftsmen and traders. Indeed, all the craftsmen (windows, painting, electricity, plumbing, tiling), who contributed to the renovation, are Ardennes; the furniture was chosen from a cabinetmaker in Rethel; household appliances from a merchant in downtown Charleville-Mézières; the logo and the website were created by a team of professionals from Charleville-Mézières; the linen was produced and purchased from a merchant in Angecourt; the kitchens were designed and installed by a tradesman from Charleville-Mézières; the interior design plans come from a company in Sedan. Even the accountant is Ardennes!
