Since 2007, the ADT and the Tourist Offices have shared a tool which makes it possible to share the catalog of tourist offers throughout the territory, this is the Constellation database, or SIT for Tourist Information System.
A little historical reminder:
- 2005 – Deployment on the initiative of the ADT thanks to funding from the Departmental Council of the Ardennes (35 k€) – Monthly cost of 680 €;
- Entry of offers in 18 TourInFrance standardized sections;
- Data export;
- Qualification of tourist reception (counter, email, telephone, mail, etc.);
- 2007 – Tool made available to TOs by agreement;
- 2007 – First dynamic websites: ardennes.com and Val d'Ardenne Tourisme;
- 2020 – Gradual export of data to the national platform DATAtourism > This tool allows data to be reused by partners or service providers.
Products related to the Tourist Information System
- A database (updated by all TOs with permanent monitoring by the ADT) feeding a network of websites: ardennes.com, valdardennetourisme.com, sud-ardennes-tourisme.com, charleville-sedan-tourisme.fr, art-grandest.fr, explore-grandest.com et visitardenne.com ;
- A site dedicated to tourism professionals: PRO space – ADT of the Ardennes ;
- Daily links and exports to the regional tourist information system (ART);
- Daily links and exports to the cross-border tourist information system Promete (GEIE Destination Ardenne);
- Links and daily imports from the Gîtes de France (ITEA) and Clévacances national database.
- Daily exports to the national Datatourism database.
