The Tourist Office is located at the entrance to rue du Pavillon next to the Caisse d'Epargne bank. Military town with its 16th century star-shaped fortifications. Commissioner of fortifications, Vauban came to Rocroy three times, in 1673, 1691 and 1696. Unique in France, Rocroy was the scene of a great Battle, the first victory under the reign of the Sun King.
