PRIX LES MEZIERES, Village Fleuri "3 Fleurs"
It is located 5km from Charleville-Mézières and depends on the Coeur d'Ardenne Urban Community.
The Marbay crosses the village.
The church of Prix-lès-Mézières was built during the First Empire. In the past, the priory chapel welcomed parishioners for services. It was located to the north of the current church which only dates from 1806. The owner of the Benedictine chapel, named Berthe, had it demolished in 1805 to build, at his own expense, the new parish church. Berthe also owns the mills.
On July 30, 1917, the Germans took away the two twin bells, dating from the year 1402. They had been cast for the priory of Price.
On the church square, a votive niche adorns the facade dated “1811”. There the statue of Saint-Sulpice, the patron saint of the parish, was housed.
You will also discover the wash house, the mill or the old station…
