Gespunsart is a village of about 1150 inhabitants, who are called the Gespinois. It is located 14km from Charleville-Mézières.
The Saint Rémi church dates from the end of the 18th century (1790), its organs, its canopy high altar, its altarpiece and its pews were created by Aubry master cabinetmakers from the 18th century as well.
