You will travel through coastal landscapes alternating between forests, meadows, rivers and ponds.
From Mouzon, you enter the Trans-Ardennes Green Way, a dedicated 130 km greenway all the way to Givet. Take the time to explore the town of Mouzon, Small Town of Characterwith a medieval atmosphere. Don't miss its Gothic abbey church and Felt Museum.
In Remilly-Aillicourt, you can also explore the Ennemane greenway over 6,5 kilometers.

Follow the Trans-Ardennes Green Route and travel through bucolic landscapes alternating between meadows and hills.
The largest fortified castle in Europe awaits you in Sedan. A former independent principality, Sedan, the birthplace of Turenne, is also rich in a textile industrial past.
The last three conflicts still appear in and around the city, and recall the strategic importance of the Sedan location.

Your journey continues on the old towpath that runs along the Meuse.
In Charleville-Mézières, take the time to discover the two towns: Charleville, a new town from the 17th century, birthplace of the poet Arthur Rimbaud, Place Ducale and its museums; Mézières, a medieval town with the Basilica of Our Lady of Hope, its 20th century stained glass windows by René Dürrbach.

Monthermé, the pearl of the Ardennes
You are entering the Meuse Valley, the Ardennes massif and its legendary forests.
In Bogny-sur-Meuse, the Four Sons Aymon wander forever in the Ardennes forest, in Monthermé, the viewpoints will allow you to see an almost entire meander of the Meuse which gave its nickname to the town, and in Laifour, three women petrified for having been unfaithful to their crusading husbands form rocks giving the landscape unforgettable shapes.

The final stage on the Trans-Ardennes Green Way, along the towpath, in the heart of the valley carved by the Meuse, discover a charming town on the banks of the Meuse, protected by Charlemont, citadel built by Charles V.
Upon arriving in Givet, you cross the bridge and reach the town center on the other bank. You can then follow the Meuse River by bike through the town and onto the Belgian cycle network. RAVeL to continue your journey.
