From Givet to Hautes-Rivières, beyond borders
You leave the banks of the Meuse for a different landscape. First, you head towards Beauraing and the Calestienne plateau. At Neuport, you follow the Lesse, then the Almache. The route follows the ridge line before descending steeply into the Semois valley, returning to France at Hautes-Rivières where you rejoin the Trans-Semoysian.

From Hautes-Rivières to Monthermé via the Trans-Semoysienne
You enter France through an emblematic village in the working-class Semoy valley. If in the past the steam hammer set the rhythm, today it is the gentle murmur of the river that will delight your ears.
Built on the former railway line, the Trans-Semoysian it crosses peaceful landscapes dotted with viewpoints and signs about the local natural and industrial heritage.
