Possibility of group visits on request
Dates of events and openings to come.
The oldest residence in Champigneul-sur-Vence is a building from the end of the 17th century, particularly characteristic of the traditional habitat of the Crêtes Préardennaises, after the 30 years war. It has not undergone any external or internal transformation since the Old Regime.
Electricity and running water have never been installed there, the floor is clay.

True witness of time, of the local habitat, we find within this residence a reconstruction of the interior of the building and the ways of living of yesteryear thanks to faithfully reconstructed furniture.
Upstairs, period tools are kept, a collection of fossils found in the vicinity of the house has been set up. It is also there that the association keeps traces of its journey to preserve this residence.

In order to support the traditional bread oven located in the kitchen, the association regularly organizes baking days, which give the opportunity to visit the building and taste the bread or a sugar cake baked in this oven.
No opening in 2020 given the current sanitary conditions, the dates of the next events will be communicated soon.

Free visit.

For groups, free entry on the days of the entertainment program, on other days participation may be requested (generally €15 for the group).
Due to the configuration of the premises, these visits are made in groups of 15 to 20 people.
