The collegiate church of Carignan suffered during the many destructions of the city, especially in 1639 and 1940.
After the Second World War, it was rebuilt according to its original plan, in a late Gothic style.
The building was listed in 1990.
Its sober architecture makes it possible to highlight numerous works of art also classified: “Madonna and Child” from the XNUMXth century, paintings and sculptures from the XNUMXth century.
