Lion de Sugny
This lion worked in concrete marked the entrance to the German main aid station (PSP): KONIGSTEIN.
It was built from October 1917 to June 1918 by the 635th Royal Saxon Sanitary Company as indicated by an inscription on its base.
We can still clearly see the entrance to the tunnels dug in the chalk hill, partially bunkering the hospital.
It was a real town which had taken place around the village of Sugny. In total, 6002 soldiers will pass through this PSP.
