38 cm SKL/45 quick-loading caliber naval gun on platform carriage
The site is located 2 km south-east of the village at a place called “Noue Ramon”. Its construction dates from 1916 by the Germans during the Great War, this site was previously in the middle of the forest hidden from sight of the inhabitants of the village and their enemies. This gun was originally intended for the German Navy but it will eventually be used for land purposes as we can see today. Explanatory panels on site. It has been listed as a historical monument since 1922.
