Eglise Saint-Martin
The tower porch, impressive in its proportions, represents a powerful square fort, a refuge for the population. The rare firing openings overlook the valley to the north. Stone cords – useful drip edges – punctuate the masonry. Beautiful basilica plan, with Gothic transept and five-sided apse. The fragility of the bedside contrasts surprisingly with the power of the tower. Remarkable medieval baptismal font.
