Ancienne usine Textile Stackler

Currently a business incubator
The Stackler textile factory was built in the second half of the 19th century and expanded in the first half of the 20th century. Several companies currently occupy the site. The site is made up of two groups. On the one hand, to the north, on the street side, there are limestone rubble buildings with slate roofing and gable roofs. A carriage door with a wrought iron gate opens onto the production buildings at the rear, covered in sheds with exposed wooden frames on cast iron supports. They are currently in ruins. On this plot, you can see the base of the old factory chimney and a building with a pavilion roof and skylight, the functionality of which is unknown. To the south, the buildings are also covered in sheds but with a different structure; they have iron-panel walls with hollow bricks. The façade on Rue Hanrat is made of reinforced concrete. At the rear, on the Rue Jockey side, a courtyard (site of destroyed buildings) houses the reinforced concrete water tower.
