Ancienne usine de quincaillerie
Buildings visible from the outside, currently Nexans company
The Underground Network Accessories Factory moved into the former Wintemberger factory in 1920, which was dedicated to ironwork and hardware. The premises, which have since been extensively remodeled, now house the Nexans cable factory. The production buildings, made of ironwork and rendered brick, include a large workshop with a sheet metal roof and rubble base, probably a vestige of an earlier structure. The adjacent shed roofs are made of mechanical tiles, with metal frames. An electrical transformer, made of brick with projecting chains, borders the street. The old offices, which burned down in 1978, were replaced by modern buildings.
