Nécropole nationale de Chestres
At the top of the cemetery, square of Czechoslovak fighters: 284 killed in October 1918, including 160 unknown in the ossuary. The bodies come from Sugny, Condé-lès-Vouziers, Chestres, Terron-sur-Aisne and Vrizy.
Monument “In memory of the legionnaires of the 21st and 22nd Czechoslovak regiments who fell on the field of honor in 1914-1918 alongside their comrades from the Allied Armies for Freedom.”
Square of Russian soldiers: 124 bodies of German prisoners. 10 graves of Belgian civilians, prisoners of the Germans deported for work. 3 British graves.
The Necropolis became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2023, with the Burial sites and memorials of the First World War (Western Front)
