Visit to the Michel Paradon Slate Museum in Fumay.

In the completely rehabilitated former Carmelite convent, the daily life of the slate workers is revealed.

From 31th July to 14th August 2026 : “Color and Sound” by the Art'IMI Color and Sound association.

IN APRIL The museum is open Monday to Friday from 14:30 pm to 18:30 pm.
Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 17 p.m.
Sunday from 14 p.m. to 17:30 p.m.
FROM MAY TO SEPTEMBER : Open every day from 10am to 11:30am and from 14pm to 18pm.
IN OCTOBER Open only on weekends, from 14pm to 17:30pm or by appointment.
GOOD TO KNOW :
(During this period (May to September), the Harbour Master's Office will be located in the premises of the Slate Museum.
