The fortified house was devastated in 1589. Rebuilt, the structure again suffered from the fires caused by the Spaniards in 1638 and 1643. Surrounded by a moat, the white stone building consists of a front entrance structure quite similar to that of Touligny, comprising three pavilions connected by low buildings.
Constructed of rubble masonry, reinforced with corner chains paired with saddlebags, the only architectural decoration for the building is a denticulated cornice running at the base of the attic.
