Unique in France, the Wool Felt Museum invites you to discover the oldest textile in the world in an original way. To obtain felt, three ingredients are enough: water, heat, and movement! The museum's Turkish collections bear witness to this artisanal production and the multiple uses of felt in the daily life of Anatolian riverbanks. Your visit to the museum is also an opportunity to discover the industrial past of Mouzon, the last town to house a felt factory in France. You will be able to observe the factory's machines in action, thanks to the museum's miniature felting line, which the guides will operate for you. Learn to felt at the museum! The museum offers felting workshops for adults and children. Using wools of different colors, create your own unique piece and take it home at the end of your visit. A unique activity to learn while having fun! Visits for schools and groups are possible upon reservation.
