As part of a retraining process, Christian CREPEAUX began, in the early 2000s, his training as a blower with Eric LAURENT in the Drôme department, training which he followed for 4 years.
From 2008 he carried out specific training with international glassmakers: Xavier LENORMAND, Scott CHASSELING for the roll-up technique, Lucio BUBACCO for glass with a blowtorch or John de WITT for his painting work based on enamels on glass. in fusion.
In parallel with these trainings, he started in 2006 the creation of his workshop in 2006 which will be operational from 2008 to continue the practical application of his apprenticeship before moving on to professional status in 2017.
Since 2015 his workshop has been located in Monthermé to have a workshop adapted to the development of the techniques learned during his long and rich training course.
The productions of the Christian CREPEAUX workshop create unique pieces and sculptures in real crystal.
These are unique decorative pieces, numbered and signed: bottles, vases, lamps, etc.
Open to collaborations, he regularly associates other materials with his work such as marble, wood and he thus works regularly in association with Catherine MERICER Jeweler for pieces combining glass and metal.
Christian CREPEAUX also works in inclusion with precious metals: gold, silver, palladium, caplain, etc.
His inspiration is based on what surrounds me and in particular nature in its broadest sense.
