The church of Tagnon is the oldest monument in the town. It is built almost exclusively in chalk apart from the large gate dating from 1859 which is in cut stone.
The plan of the church features a Latin cross with a double transept. It was started in the 13th century; of the primitive construction, only the apse would remain. The current portal is a mixture of several styles.
Seems to have served as a stronghold during the wars of the 16th and 17th centuries.
