Nécropole et Ossuaire de Bazeilles
It was built from 1878 by the State on land that it had itself purchased from the municipality and from individuals.
It was completed in 1890. It contains the bones of approximately 3000 French and German soldiers.
Pursuant to an agreement dated March 1, 1951, between the Ministry of Veterans Affairs (Bureau Graves) and the Committee, it is up to the latter to assume the (expensive) cost of its maintenance.
Its terrace had to be completely redone in 1999.
To visit it, all you have to do is ask the caretaker of the house.
