Forge Toussaint

Located at the southern entrance to Givet, this former XNUMXth century guardhouse was transformed into a forge.
Originally, this former guardhouse protected the Porte sous-Charlemont.

Then, for many years, at a time when there were many horses both for agriculture and for driving the carriages of the bourgeoisie of the time, the old guardhouse would become a forge, of which a Mr. Toussaint was the black-smith.
Hence the name Forge Toussaint.

At the end of the Meuse quays (Rive Gauche).
