open church
The Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul church is located in the heart of the cemetery and in the center of the village. It has a Latin cross plan. It has a Gothic nave and a transept. It is like the oldest houses built with local material: the building is raised in chalky limestone freestone for the nave; the bell tower, the buttresses of the nave, the transept and the choir use cut stone of the Dom-le-Mesnil type. All of the roofing of the building is in slate. Inside, the floor of the nave and the transept are covered with limestone slabs and that of the choir with a marble checkerboard of three colors. The capitals of the crossing and the choir are decorated with hooks and acanthus leaves. The stained glass window was installed in the choir in 2002, made by the master glassmaker Maurice Hendricks from the model by Katia Henry.
