Eglise Saint Lambert de Daigny

The reconstruction of the Saint-Lambert church was supervised by the Société Coopérative de Reconstruction Immobilière and then by the Société Coopérative de Reconstitution Mobilière des églises sinistrées des Ardennes from 1950. Calls for tenders were launched on October 29, 1959 and the contracts signed in September 1960. The building permit was issued on April 23, 1960 based on the plans of August 20, 1959. The metal structure was erected on September 19, 1962 and completed with the bell tower on February 11, 1963. The official inauguration took place on June 5, 1966.

The Saint-Lambert church is located in the centre of the village and its choir faces south. It has an elongated plan, with no separation between the choir and the nave, except for a few steps. A basement accessible by a metal staircase houses a sacristy and a parish hall. The walls are made of metal and brick, with a porch supporting the bell tower. The slate roof is supported by beams, and the bell tower is an open square spire.
