Roland GARROS (1888-1918), aviation hero and pioneer
Grave of lieutenant aviator Roland Garros, who died in aerial combat on October 5, 1918 above Saint-Morel.
The monument overlooking the vault was created and installed in 1924 by Victor Pierrard de Vouziers at the initiative of the aviator's mother.
