Site gallo-romain de Chameleux

Free access all year round.
At this place passed the Roman road Reims-Trèves, built in 45 BC. under the reign of Emperor Claude and on the edge of which the Romans had installed a relay to welcome soldiers and travellers. This place has been the subject of scientific excavations and didactic panels are installed to explain to walkers the life in this place in Roman times.
Also worth seeing, a stone's throw from Chameleux, is the picturesque French village of Wiliers, established on a spur blocked by a wall, undoubtedly built in the Celtic or Roman times.
