During the French Revolution, in 1792, after the departure of the Dominicans, it became the parish church, while the old church in the center of the cemetery was abandoned both because of its remoteness and its dilapidation.

The roof and the bell tower were destroyed during the fire which almost completely devastated the entire convent on the night of May 10, 1886.
The works of art which adorned the interior have fortunately remained intact.
During the restoration, the bell tower which surmounted the facade, was replaced by a campanile, at the height of the choir, to the right of the building.
One of the most famous monks was the Revinois Charles René Billuard whose statue we find inside the church.
The church was listed in the ISMH (Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments) on October 18, 1926.
Inside, the preaching pulpit was classified on September 30, 1911 and the two carved oak confessionals were classified on July 31, 1970.
