École Nationale Supérieure des Arts de la Marionnette – Margareta Niculescu

At the heart of the International Puppet Centre – Jacques Félix, the National Higher School of Puppet Arts – Margareta Niculescu (ESNAM) provides high-level initial training through a 3-year higher education program and validates the National Higher Professional Diploma of Actor, specializing in actor-puppeteer (DNSPC) combined with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

This school, accessible by competition (1 competition every 3 years), allows you to follow the teaching of French and foreign artists and aims to master the fundamentals of contemporary puppetry while ensuring the development of each person's artistic language.
Next competition scheduled for April 2027.

An open house is usually held on the third Saturday of March (in 2025, Saturday, March 21). It offers the opportunity to discover this unique program through guided tours. Throughout the year, the public can also attend student presentations in the school's theater or at other venues.
Workshops for families are offered during school holidays in the premises.
