Exposition : Voleur de feu

Through a dialogue between the museum's collections and the original comic strip artwork, the exhibition immerses visitors in the poet's childhood and youth in Charleville. Original manuscripts, vintage photographs, and portraits of the Rimbaud family illuminate the research conducted by the artist.

Loans from La Piscine – Musée d'art et d'industrie André Diligent, the Musée de l'Histoire vivante de Montreuil, and the Bibliothèque Jacques Doucet complement the collections on display. These works allow visitors to explore the graphic and artistic influences that shaped the visual world of this comic strip.

The exhibition also reveals the different stages involved in creating a comic book: from the first sketches to the final drawings. Visitors discover Damien Cuvillier's perspective and working method through sketches, graphic research, and original drawings.
