Join us from April 26 to October 25, 2025 to discover this rich program!
After four years of devastating war, the north and east of France were rebuilding. The devastated territories then served as a laboratory for architects and artists deeply reflecting on the revival of French art. The war cut short this movement, and the Roaring Twenties and the interwar period would be its springboard. A new movement emerged: the "4 style."

On April 28, 1925, the exhibition opened in Paris
international exhibition of modern decorative and industrial arts, it brings together exhibitors from 21 countries,
mainly European.

Reflecting a post-war society in full transformation, innovation is the watchword of this exhibition. The 1925 style that we now call "art deco" is intended to be a return to classical rigor and a
geometrization of forms. It invades every aspect of society: architecture, furniture, stained glass, cinema, painting, sculpture and even gardens!

A popular success, the exhibition attracted nearly 6 million visitors. It was widely covered in the press and quickly became a veritable showcase for French artists and luxury goods, which were exported internationally. Art Deco seduced the world.
