From dream to reality. Paris, 1920s. Anna leaves her provincial home to make a living performing in a cabaret run by Denise and Georges, a couple as fascinating as they are unsettling. Meanwhile, her brother Henri and his friends are hiding a dark secret of war. As ideals crumble and tensions rise, their destinies intertwine until one explosive night when nothing will ever be the same again.
