From August 20-23, it is in the Ardennes that you will have to be, in Charleville-Mézières on the plain of Square Bayard for this eco-responsible festival unlike any other.

From Rimbaud's poem to one of France's biggest festivals
Le Cabaret Green Festival takes its name from the poem At the Cabaret-Vert, five o'clock in the evening byArthur Rimbaud, an emblematic figure of the Ardennes. This choice perfectly symbolizes the spirit of the festival: a meeting between artistic creation, territorial identity and openness to the world.
The adventure began in 2005 à Charleville-Mezieres driven by a handful of enthusiasts gathered within the FLaP association. From its very first edition, the festival attracted more than 10,000 festival-goers around an ambitious musical program and a cultural project strongly rooted in its territory.
Since then, its growth has been spectacular. Initially organized over two days, the festival has gradually expanded to accommodate more stages, artists, and audiences. In less than twenty years, its attendance has increased more than tenfold. increasing from 10,000 participants in 2005 to over 107,000 festival-goers in 2024, with a record 127,000 visitors reached in 2023.
Today, Cabaret Vert has established itself as one of the major contemporary music events in France. and as the most important cultural event in the Grand Est region. Its program brings together each year internationally renowned artists and attracts an audience from all over the France, but also Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and many other European countriesThanks to this international dimension, the festival contributes to the influence of the Ardennes far beyond its borders and makes Charleville-Mézières an unmissable cultural destination in the summer.


For its previous editionThe Cabaret Vert has once again brought together numerous international artists from all musical genres, with over 100 concerts, to the delight of more than 100 festival-goersBut don't think you'll be bothered by the noise or the crowds! This festival, which takes place in the heart of Charleville-Mézières around the Bayard square, succeeds in its aim of... friendliness.
2026 Program: A Historic 20th Edition

Each edition of Cabaret Vert brings together some of the most anticipated artists on the French and international scene, while also giving significant space to emerging talents and new musical trends. Rock, rap, electro, French chanson, pop, metal, or alternative music : the festival offers a rich and diverse program that appeals to all generations of festival-goers.
The 2026 edition is no exception, featuring major figures such as Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Deftones, Gims, Josman, Charlotte Cardin and Feu! ChattertonAmong leading international artists, essential figures of the French-speaking scene, and new discoveries like Theodora or Miki, the Cabaret Vert confirms its ability to bring together on a single event the big names of current music and the talents that are shaping the trends of tomorrow.
For 4 days, festival-goers will be able to enjoy a unique musical experience in the heart of the Ardennes, at one of the biggest cultural events of the summer in France!
Street art, films and a comic book festival
In addition to musical performances, the Cabaret Vert is a venue open to other arts. It thus welcomes a comic book festival with a Cabaret Vert Comics Prize (3 categories) : youth, adult and the Knowledge Prize)a program street arts or alternatively cinema screenings. This much-appreciated diversity allows festival-goers to navigate between different atmospheres.



The pioneer of French eco-festivals
Signatory of an environmental charter at its creation in 2005, the first French eco-festival attaches great importance to well-being of its festival-goersIt is partly achieved through the layout of spaces, meticulous decoration, and above all, quality gastronomy and responsible consumption.
Short circuits, renewable energies, waste management, creation of a village dedicated to the environment… Cabaret Vert was also awarded the “ prize” in 2013 A Greener Festival ». It does it again in 2023 with obtaining the “Greener Festival 2023 – Highly commended” certification, awarded by A Greener Future.
Practical information
Sleeping at the Green Cabaret
Two campsites are available:
- CAMPING N°1 – AU DORMEUR DU VAL (the one closest to the festival, the one where the party is held)
- CAMPSITE NO. 2 – OLD MEUSE SQUARE (the one a little further away, where you sleep like a baby)
The €19 camping ticket is valid for the entire duration of the festival, for one campsite only. (1 or 2).

⚠️ From Wednesday, August 19th, the camping ticket will cost 25 euros.
It is not possible to change campsites during the festival.
Coming to the Green Cabaret
Festival-goers, be active participants in making Cabaret Vert low carbon!
To reduce the ecological impact of travel together – trains, buses, bicycles, carpooling or walking – there is bound to be a solution that is suitable for your situation and kind to the climate!

The main entrance for festival-goers is now via Rue Voltaire. (Access will no longer be possible via Place St Julien)
Entrance reserved for Camping 1 users "Le Dormeur du Val" will be located at 36 rue de Warcq with direct access to the festival.
