Today present in 46 countries on all continents, The Blue Flag has become a benchmark in the fields of tourism, the environment and sustainable development.

Labeled Ardennes sites
Beaches
Lake Bairon
In the countryside, in a setting that is both rural and wooded, Lake Bairon offers a real break of 100% natural tranquility. The first village (Le Chesne) is 3 km away. The 120 ha lake is separated from an old pond and its reed bed by a dike dating from the 16th century, when monks practiced aquaculture there. On this Natura 2000 classified site, 150 species of birds have been recorded. New, In order to be able to contemplate the birds in complete serenity, a new ornithological observatory has been installed. A beautiful beach borders the large lake. In addition to a beautiful view of the forest and the surrounding nature, it offers relaxation and fun with a play area available for the youngest. In summer, swimming is supervised there.

Warenne lake
Located in the Manchester district, the Warenne site offers tourists and residents of Charleroi, for the summer, supervised swimming and a fine sandy beach.
Games for children, wooded green space, large lawns and trail. Free access all year round.
In summer, the La Warenne site offers many facilities (play structure for children, tables, benches, changing rooms and showers equipped and accessible to people with reduced mobility, etc.) which will satisfy adults and children alike.

To note !
These Ardennes beaches are the only Blue Flag beaches in the Grand Est region.
Marinas
Monthermé marina
The Port of Monthermé welcomes you from April 1st to October 31st each year.
This stopover point offers a capacity of 25 boats, 9 electricity and water terminals, 16 motorhome pitches, as well as a harbor master's office with all services (showers, disabled toilets, washing machine, dryer) .

Revin river stop
The river stop is a development of 200 meters of quay, located in the heart of the city and in an exceptional green setting on the edge of Rocheteau Park.
A very quiet place and close to the city center.
The site of the Revin river stop offers many amenities.
