Woinic, the largest wild boar in the world
Imagine. 50 tons, 10 meters high, 13 meters long and 5 meters wide! This monumental creature is the work of foundry artist Eric Sleziak. For 11 years, he welded thousands of metal plates. 12000 hours of work in all.
What an unusual sight for motorists crossing the Ardennes on the A34. Arriving near the Saulces-Monclin Ardennes motorway service area (exit 14), 14 km from Rethel, Woinic appears, proudly planted on his feet, his mouth slightly open, his ears on the alert.
A giant troll Elfy Park
The giant troll of Elfy Park, in Les Mazures, is a world star. Indeed, this "Ardennes" troll directed by Thomas Dambo who defines himself as a Recycle Art Activist is the only one in France out of the 100 trolls created by the artist throughout the world. These giants made of recycled wood, pallet wood, are simply impressive. The "Ardennes" troll is located near the Old Forges lake, in Les Mazures, within Elfy Park. Come and find out!
Le Knight Dardennor on the heights of Bogny-sur-Meuse.
The Rocher de l'Hermitage, ancient refuge of the enchanter Maugis according to legend, is dominated by the knight Dardennor. This imaginary knight who symbolizes the fight against injustice is a 4 meter high metal sculpture created by Eric Sleziak, sculptor from Bogny-sur-Meuse and creator Woinic. This knight stands in a majestic landscape.

Fantastic on the heights of Fumay
Strong feelings! This is the key word of the experiences offered by Terraltitude, the adventure park in the Ardennes based in the middle of the forest in Fumay, with the Fantasticable as the beachhead. Solo or in duo, a wind of madness will blow in your hair and your ears when you launch yourself 100 meters high on this giant zip line : 1,2 km long at a top speed of 110 km/h above the Meuse.

At the heart of the Porcien, its cereal plains and chalky subsoils, the Saint-Didier d'Asfeld church, with its Italian or oriental airs, looks like a mirage.
Made of bricks and slates, between pink and gray, it appears all in roundness, with its colonnades, its domes and its dome. Seen from the sky, its originality ends up prevailing: the Saint-Didier d'Asfeld church has the shape of a viola da Gamba.
Nutons, mischievous little elves
These little imaginary characters with supernatural powers are nocturnal creatures and have taken up residence in the caves of Nichet in the north of the department at Fromelennes. Malicious and mischievous, they come to life in the many Ardennes legends.
