Discovery of the Ardennes in two stages
In search of tranquillity, history and good food, Romy chose the Ardennes and does not regret it. Arriving from Paris via Reims, she decided to organize her trip in two stages: a week and a half north of Charleville-Mézières and another week south.
“These are two very different experiences,” she explains.

“In the north, it is a France with contrasting, powerful landscapes, marked by history and metallurgy, a mix between the gorges of the Tarn and the Canadian forests. After the bridge of Revin, Fumay, Haybes, it's sublime! And in addition in a motorhome, we are elevated! So we have a breathtaking view…. To the south, towards Vouziers, it is the beautiful and gentle France dominated by the countryside and the canals. The ideal is to go through Pont-à-Bar. We let ourselves be rocked. You can also cycle there, especially at Le Chesne and on the towpaths. We must not forget Attigny either. »

Throughout her trip, the young woman took advantage of the various services offered in the area: reception area, service area, parking in camping and even on the farm. Word of mouth, dear to motorhome owners, helped her find her way, but also the website of the Agence de Développement Touristique www.ardennes.com as well as the tourist map of the Ardennes.
