The Grands Ducs of the Meuse Valley The rocks of the Grands Ducs constitute a landscape of very high quality. They are on the left bank of the Meuse and culminate at 227 meters, the end of a rocky outcrop which borders the loop described by the river. The forest is present everywhere, the reliefs are very accentuated. The rocks of the Grands Ducs form a real cliff and seem to plunge into the waters of the river, helping to give this site a grandiose atmosphere. This sandstone and schist complex offers an exceptional panorama over the village of Joigny-sur-Meuse and Nouzonville.
